Zuffa Boxing is heading to the U.K. this summer, as Zuffa Boxing 07 lands at the Bournemouth International Centre in Bournemouth, England, on June 6 with a cruiserweight main event between Chris Billam-Smith and Ryan Rozicki.
The card will mark the first Zuffa Boxing event held outside the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. It will stream on Paramount+ and air on Sky Sports in the U.K. Both Billam-Smith and Rozicki will be making their Zuffa Boxing debuts in the headliner.
“I’m coming home. This is a huge opportunity for me back in front of my amazing supporters. Sky Sports know just how incredible these fight nights are in Bournemouth and this one will be no different,” Billam-Smith said. “Zuffa Boxing is all about proper fights under the lights and that’s exactly what Rozicki brings to the table.”
Rozicki welcomed the challenge on the new stage. “It’s a tough fight, and that’s exactly what I wanted when I signed with Zuffa Boxing,” he said. “I know what he brings, and I respect that. But he hasn’t been in there with someone like me. I’m focused on my work, taking it day by day, and I’ll be ready on fight night. The fans are going to get a real fight.”
Zuffa Boxing, led by UFC CEO Dana White, had previously staged its events inside the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, with White having said the promotion would eventually take shows on the road during its inaugural year.
