Former UFC strawweight champion Zhang Weili has unveiled a new look on social media after vacating her 115-pound title and moving up to flyweight.
Zhang shared a video on Instagram revealing a professionally done makeover, showcasing a different side of the fighter fans last saw in the UFC 322 co-main event in New York, where she lost to Valentina Shevchenko at 125 pounds.
"There was a professional makeup artist who taught me to apply makeup," Zhang said, explaining the polished transformation featured in her post.
Zhang, who owns wins over former champions Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Carla Esparza, and Jessica Andrade, has not yet returned to competition since UFC 322. In her absence at 115 pounds, Mackenzie Dern captured the vacant UFC strawweight title after Zhang chose to leave the division.
