Wang Cong has publicly claimed that Valentina Shevchenko declined to share the stage with her at an upcoming UFC Macau fan Q&A.
According to Wang, the two were initially lined up for a joint appearance before Shevchenko allegedly asked the UFC to change the plan. Wang and Shevchenko previously met in a three-round kickboxing bout at Kunlun Fight 33 in China, where Wang earned a decision win.
“Valentina and I were originally scheduled to appear together at the UFC Macau fan Q&A. However, she submitted a request to UFC to opt out of the joint appearance, refusing to share the stage with me. As my defeated opponent, it’s clear she’s afraid I’ll expose the truth behind her lies. She’s a sore loser with no class—nothing more than a compulsive liar who can’t handle defeat. Wang’s post comes as she rides a three-fight winning streak, all by unanimous decision, following a late-2024 loss to Gabriella Fernandes. Her UFC debut nearly two years ago ended in a 62-second knockout, and she is next scheduled to face Tracy Cortez at UFC 329 in July after a February victory over Eduarda Moura, where she missed weight.
