Vacant Light Heavyweight Belt Headlines Stat-Packed UFC 327 in Miami
08-04-26

UFC 327 hits the Kaseya Center in Miami on Saturday, headlined by a vacant light heavyweight title fight between Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg.

The belt is up for grabs after Alex Pereira moved to heavyweight, and the new main event pits one of the division’s most dangerous finishers against its hottest streak. Prochazka enters with 31 stoppage wins in 32 career victories, including all six of his UFC wins, while Ulberg rides a nine-fight UFC winning streak at light heavyweight, the longest active run in the division.

The card is loaded with notable numbers across multiple weight classes. Azamat Murzakanov brings a perfect 16-0 record with 13 stoppage wins into his bout, and Paulo Costa makes his move from middleweight to light heavyweight. At heavyweight, Curtis Blaydes enters with 14 UFC wins and a divisional record 64 takedowns, while Josh Hokit is 8-0 with all eight wins coming by stoppage.

Veteran names also carry major milestones. Dominick Reyes, who began his career 12-0, is 3-4 in his past seven fights, and Johnny Walker’s resume includes light heavyweight knockouts via spinning back fist, flying knee, and one in 15 seconds or less. Cub Swanson is set for his 33rd UFC/WEC featherweight bout, the most in divisional history, and his 20 wins at that weight are tied with Max Holloway for the most in combined UFC/WEC featherweight history.

UFC 327 marks the promotion’s fourth consecutive year visiting Miami. Statistical information for the event was contributed by UFC research analyst Michael Carroll.
