Oleksandr Usyk and Rico Verhoeven successfully hit the scales in Giza, Egypt, clearing the final hurdle for their WBC heavyweight title main event at the Usyk vs. Rico event on Friday.
Both fighters were required to weigh at least 200 pounds for the heavyweight showdown. Usyk came in at 233.3 pounds, while Verhoeven registered 258.7 pounds at the weigh-ins.
The Usyk vs. Rico ceremonial weigh-ins are scheduled for 1 p.m. ET. The main card airs on DAZN PPV at 1 p.m. ET, with prelims set to stream on MMA Fighting starting at 11 a.m. ET.
