Undefeated Josh Hokit Draws Knockout King Derrick Lewis at UFC White House
15-06-26

Josh Hokit is set for the biggest test of his young career when he meets Derrick Lewis in a main card heavyweight bout at UFC White House on Sunday in Washington, D.C.

The event is scheduled to take place at the White House, with Hokit entering the clash ranked No. 7 and Lewis sitting at No. 15 in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings.

Hokit brings a perfect 9-0 professional record into the matchup and is undefeated through his first three UFC appearances. The former All-American wrestler and NFL hopeful turned to professional MMA in 2023 and earned his UFC deal after competing on Dana White’s Contender Series.

Lewis, the UFC’s all-time knockout leader, enters with a 29-13, 1 NC record. After a 2023 submission loss to Serghei Spivac, he went 3-1 before being finished by Waldo Cortes-Acosta at UFC 324 in January.

The heavyweight pairing adds significant intrigue to UFC White House, pitting one of the division’s fastest-rising contenders against one of its most established finishers.
