Undefeated Artur Miniev Steps In On Five Days’ Notice at UFC FN 276
12-05-26

Artur Miniev will make his UFC debut on just five days’ notice, stepping in to face fellow newcomer Thomas Gantt at UFC Fight Night 276 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas.

Miniev, an undefeated Ukrainian lightweight with a 7-0 MMA record, replaces Trey Ogden, who withdrew from the bout due to injury. The matchup with Gantt, who holds an 11-0 record, is scheduled for Saturday.

Miniev has six finishes in seven fights, including four knockouts and three submissions, and has mainly competed for Fury FC. He left Ukraine when its war with Russia broke out and has since trained in New England, Albuquerque, and Las Vegas.

Miniev currently trains under John Wood at Syndicate MMA and also works with Yaroslav Amosov at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Florida. Gantt, a former North Carolina State University wrestler, transitioned to MMA in 2023 and earned his UFC contract via Dana White's Contender Series with a quick submission of Adam Livingston.
