Nurmagomedov enters the main event with a 20-1 professional record and an 8-1 mark in the UFC. He is coming off consecutive wins over Mario Bautista and Deiveson Figueiredo and previously challenged Merab Dvalishvili for the bantamweight title at UFC 311, losing on the scorecards.
Song brings a 23-9-1 professional record and a 12-4-1 UFC slate into the matchup. He submitted Deiveson Figueiredo in May in his sixth UFC main event and most recently put together consecutive wins over Ricky Simon and Chris Gutierrez in 2023.
