UFC White House Viewership Stacked Against MVP’s Netflix Mega Card
19-06-26

UFC’s high-profile “UFC White House” show on Paramount+ is being compared to MVP’s blockbuster “Rousey vs. Carano” card on Netflix, with both sides touting the strength of their audiences.

The UFC event streamed last Sunday from the South Lawn in Washington, DC, with Justin Gaethje featured on the card, and was part of Paramount+’s expanded streaming portfolio after adding UFC at the beginning of 2026. MVP, co-founded by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, promoted its own major MMA event on Netflix headlined by “Rousey vs. Carano.”

Jake Paul reacted to the numbers by saying, “As a boxing promoter it feels good waking up today being the biggest MMA promoter,” while Bidarian focused on the broader picture for the sport.

“Tremendous success for UFC 250, which is great for the continued growth of the sport, the fighters and the fans,” Bidarian said, later adding, “MVP MMA had Netflix. UFC 250 had the White House and one of the most recognized global figures in history in President Trump. Only winners here in all scenarios. And UFC 250 was an amazing production, whether you agreed with the location or not. UFC is by far the most dominant brand — the reference brand for the sport of MMA. For MVP MMA to be in the same ballpark of viewership for their biggest event ever is damn good. Don’t care who was higher. Congrats to all.”

Netflix currently has approximately 325 million paid subscribers globally, compared to 79.6 million for Paramount+. The article notes that Paul and Bidarian do not have a second MVP MMA event in the works or a network to stream it, while Conor McGregor is scheduled to return at UFC 329 in Las Vegas.
