19-06-26

UFC Vegas 119 fight week hits a key checkpoint as all 24 fighters on the card are set to step on the scale at the official weigh-ins in Las Vegas.

The event takes place at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas and is headlined by a flyweight non-title bout between Manel Kape and Kyoji Horiguchi. Both main-event fighters must come in at no more than 126 pounds for their showdown.

In the light heavyweight co-main event, Ion Cutelaba and Navajo Stirling are also on the clock, needing to hit no more than 206 pounds for their non-title matchup.

The stakes are high at the top of the bill. The winner of the main event between Manel Kape and Kyoji Horiguchi is described as likely being in position for the next shot at champion Joshua Van.

UFC Vegas 119 features a main card and preliminary card broadcast on Paramount+. The official weigh-ins begin at noon ET, with the preliminary card airing at 5 p.m. ET and the main card at 8 p.m. ET.

Kyoji Horiguchi enters the matchup holding a previous submission win over Manel Kape from a RIZIN event in December 2017, adding an extra layer of intrigue to their flyweight headliner.
