UFC Unveils Striking New Renderings for White House Fight Card

The UFC has released new renderings and fresh details for its upcoming White House fight card, set for June 14 on the south lawn in a rare outdoor event.

The visuals showcase a giant structure called the claw that will provide lighting and cover over the octagon, with the setup designed so the White House serves as the backdrop for every fight. The live audience is expected to be around 4,000 people, made up of military members and invited guests from the UFC and those selected by President Donald Trump.

The UFC’s latest renderings highlight how "the claw" will frame the cage as the centerpiece of the south lawn production. A viewing party at the Ellipse next to the White House, featuring big screens and a fan fest, is expected to draw more than 70,000 people.

In total, the White House card will feature seven fights. Reigning lightweight champion Ilia Topuria will face interim champion Justin Gaethje in a title unification bout, while the co-main event is an interim heavyweight title fight between Ciryl Gane and Alex Pereira, who is moving up in weight.
