The UFC is heading to Serbia for the first time, with the promotion officially scheduling a UFC Fight Night event in Belgrade on August 1.
The card will mark the organization’s debut in the Serbian capital. It is confirmed as a Fight Night event, though the promotion has not yet announced a venue or a headlining bout for the Belgrade show.
Serbian talent has been making noise ahead of the UFC’s arrival. Uros Medic is on a three-fight finishing streak after stopping Geoff Neal in February, while Dusko Todorovic recently snapped a losing skid with a first-round submission victory over Jose Medina.
Medic had previously called for the UFC to bring an event to Serbia. The Belgrade card is part of a broader international stretch for the promotion, with nine of the 13 UFC events announced through August taking place outside Las Vegas, including stops in China, Azerbaijan, Serbia, and Perth, Australia.
