UFC Parts Ways With Daniel Marcos, Lando Vannata and Two Others
29-05-26

The UFC has released four fighters from its roster, parting ways with Daniel Marcos, Lando Vannata, Vince Morales, and Jamie Mullarkey.

Marcos exits the promotion after going 5-1 with one no contest in seven UFC appearances, with his contract not renewed following its expiration. His UFC wins came against Felipe Lima, Adrian Yanez, John Castaneda, Davey Grant, and Saimon Oliveira, with his lone loss in the Octagon coming to Montel Jackson in May 2025.

Vannata, who debuted for the UFC in July 2016, leaves with a 12-8-2 MMA record and a 4-8-2 UFC mark. He returned from a near three-year hiatus in April but was TKOed by Darrius Flowers.

Morales departs the promotion for a second time. The bantamweight owns a 16-11 MMA record and went 3-9 in the UFC. He previously went 3-5 in his first stint between November 2018 and November 2022, then earned a 2024 re-signing off a 5-0 regional run before subsequent losses led to his latest release.

Mullarkey, an 18-9 lightweight, leaves the UFC after dropping three of his most recent four bouts and posting a 6-7 record inside the Octagon. He became a regular on Australian UFC cards and recorded wins over Michael Johnson, Francisco Prado, and John Makdessi during his tenure.

Marcos, a 33-year-old bantamweight from Peru with an 18-1 professional record, and the three other veterans now enter free agency following Friday’s roster moves.
