21-06-26

UFC Fight Night 279 competitors collectively took home $168,000 in UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay for their appearances at Meta APEX.

The event, which streamed in full on Paramount+, saw fighters including Manel Kape, Kyoji Horiguchi, Ion Cutelaba, Christian Rodriguez, Vinicius Oliveira, Andre Fili, Karol Rosa and others receive tiered payouts under the promotion’s compliance structure.

The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance program replaces the previous UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy payments and ties compensation to a fighter’s total number of bouts under UFC, Zuffa-era WEC, and Zuffa-era Strikeforce. Payouts range from $4,000 to $21,000 per appearance, with champions earning $42,000 and title challengers receiving $32,000.

The program covers outfitting requirements, media obligations, and other code of conduct items, and has now produced $43,744,500 in total Promotional Guidelines Compliance payouts to date.
