UFC Fight Night 276 in Las Vegas delivered more than just action in the cage, with fighters on the card receiving a combined $167,000 in UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payouts.
The event took place at Meta APEX, with the entire card streaming on Paramount+. Athletes including Arnold Allen, Melquizael Costa, Dooho Choi, Daniel Santos, Juan Diaz, Malcolm Wellmaker, Modestas Bukauskas, Christian Edwards, Bernardo Sopaj, Timothy Cuamba, Khaos Williams, Nikolay Veretennikov, Ivan Erslan, Tuco Tokkos, Thomas Gantt, Artur Minev, Ketlen Vieira, Jacqueline Cavalcante, Cody Brundage, Andre Petroski, Alice Ardelean, Polyana Viana, Luis Gurule, Daniel Barez, Nicolle Caliari and Shauna Bannon were among those eligible for the compliance checks.
The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance program replaces the previous UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy payments. Under the current structure, fighters are paid per appearance based on their total number of qualifying bouts, with tiers ranging from $4,000 to $21,000, and higher amounts reserved for champions and title challengers.
Funded by Venum’s multi-year sponsorship with the UFC, the program also includes 20-30 percent royalties for athletes on UFC merchandise bearing their likeness. To date, Promotional Guidelines Compliance payouts have reached a total of $42,779,000 across all events.
