The UFC is heading to Serbia for the first time, officially announcing a Fight Night event set for Aug. 1 at Belgrade Arena.
The promotion confirmed the date and venue but has not yet announced any matchups for the Serbia Fight Night card.
Several Serbian names stand out as potential local attractions, though no bouts are booked. Welterweight Uros Medic is on a three-fight knockout streak and is ranked No. 13 at 170 pounds. He most recently earned a Performance of the Night with a win over Geoff Neal at UFC Fight Night 267 in February.
At light heavyweight, Aleksandar Rakic sits at No. 12 in the rankings and is currently on a four-fight losing streak, most recently being stopped by Azamat Murzakanov at UFC 321 last July.
Middleweight Dusko Todorovic, a graduate of Dana White's Contender Series, recently snapped a three-fight losing skid with a submission win over Jose Medina at UFC Fight Night 259.
No official lineup has been revealed, but the UFC’s debut in Serbia is set for Belgrade Arena on Aug. 1.
