The UFC is returning to Philadelphia, with UFC 330 officially scheduled for Aug. 15 at Xfinity Mobile Arena.

The organization announced the date and location on Tuesday, confirming that a championship fight is planned for the card, though no bouts have been officially announced yet.

“Philadelphia is hosting some of the biggest sporting events this year as part of the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary,” Dana White said. “It's been fifteen years since the UFC brought a numbered event to the city, so now is the perfect time to go back. Philadelphia has always been a great fight town, and I can't wait to return.”

UFC 330 will mark the promotion’s first event in Philadelphia since UFC on ESPN 2 in March 2019. The last championship fight in the city took place at UFC 133: Rashad Evans vs. Tito Ortiz 2 in 2011.
