UFC 328 Fighters Earn $371,000 in Promotional Compliance Payouts

UFC 328 fighters collectively received $371,000 in UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

The event, which streamed on Paramount+, featured names such as Sean Strickland, Khamzat Chimaev, Joshua Van, Tatsuro Taira, Alexander Volkov, Waldo Cortes-Acosta, Sean Brady, Joaquin Buckley and Jim Miller among the athletes eligible under the program.

Under the UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance structure, champions receive $42,000 per appearance, while title challengers receive $32,000. Fighters with 1-3 bouts earn $4,000, those with 4-5 bouts receive $4,500, 6-10 bouts earn $6,000, 11-15 bouts receive $11,000, 16-20 bouts earn $16,000, and athletes with 21 or more bouts receive $21,000 per appearance.

In addition to the appearance-based payouts, UFC fighters receive royalty payments of 20-30 percent of UFC merchandise sold that bears their likeness.

The Promotional Guidelines Compliance program, which replaced the previous UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy, covers outfitting requirements, media obligations and other elements tied to the fighter code of conduct. Program-to-date total compliance payouts are listed at $42,408,000.
