The first episode of UFC 327 Embedded has dropped, giving fans a look at fight week in Miami ahead of a new light heavyweight champion being crowned.
UFC 327 takes place Saturday at Kaseya Center in Miami, with Jiri Prochazka vs. Carlos Ulberg set as the main event for the 205-pound title vacated by Alex Pereira. The co-headliner features Paulo Costa vs. Azamat Murzakanov at light heavyweight.
The debut Embedded episode follows several featured fighters during fight week, including Prochazka, Ulberg, Costa, Murzakanov, Joshua Van, Tatsuro Taira, Dominick Reyes, Johnny Walker, Cub Swanson, and Randy Brown, as they go through their final preparations. The series is branded simply as "Embedded" and continues the UFC’s behind-the-scenes coverage tradition.
Originally slated for this card, a flyweight title fight between Joshua Van and Tatsuro Taira was shifted to UFC 328, but both fighters still appear among the Embedded focus group. UFC 327 is described as the UFC's fourth numbered event of the year, with the Embedded series once again documenting the key moments and movements of fight week from inside the fighters' camps and routines.
