Donald Trump says he’s on board with a potential name change for the upcoming UFC Freedom 250 card on the South Lawn of the White House.

The June 14 event, announced March 7 as UFC Freedom 250 in honor of the United States of America’s 250th anniversary of independence, is scheduled for Sunday, June 14, on Trump’s 80th birthday and will feature seven fights. The card is headlined by Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje for the undisputed lightweight championship and Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight championship.

During a White House exchange, a reporter floated a different branding for the show, saying, “UFC typically numbers those fights consecutively, but should they label this one UFC 1776?” Trump responded, “That's a good idea. I'll tell that to Dana White. I like that idea, actually.”

The event has been heavily promoted as UFC Freedom 250 for five weeks. Trump’s comments about the name came less than 48 hours after he attended UFC 327 at Kaseya Center in Miami.
