A new feature has ranked the top three MMA knockouts from the first six months of 2026, spotlighting dramatic finishes across UFC and the amateur scene.
The list includes Alexa Grasso’s first-round knockout of Maycee Barber in their rematch at UFC Seattle, Carlos Ulberg’s title-winning finish of Jiri Prochazka at UFC 327, and Gabriel Peinado’s rapid stoppage of Santiago Gonzales under the Empire Championship Series banner.
Grasso, a former flyweight champion, stopped Barber with a right cross followed by a rear-naked choke attempt in round one, adding a knockout to a rivalry she first won by unanimous decision in 2021. She entered the rematch coming off a loss to Natalia Silva.
At light heavyweight, Carlos Ulberg claimed the vacant UFC title by knocking out Jiri Prochazka with a check left hook at UFC 327. The bout was booked for the belt after Alex Pereira vacated the championship to move to heavyweight.
Rounding out the list, Gabriel Peinado delivered a standout amateur finish against Santiago Gonzales, using a double punch from guard followed by ground strikes to end their Empire Championship Series fight just 49 seconds into the first round.
