Top-10 women’s flyweights Jasmine Jasudavicius and Karine Silva are set to collide on the main card of UFC Fight Night 273 this Saturday at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg.
Jasudavicius enters the bout with a 14-4 MMA record and an 8-3 mark in the UFC, while Silva brings a 19-6 MMA record and a 5-2 UFC slate into the matchup. The two are expected to make their walks to the cage at approximately 8:40 p.m. ET.
Both fighters step in looking to rebound. Jasudavicius is coming off a lopsided loss to Manon Fiorot that snapped a five-fight winning streak, and Silva has dropped two of her past three bouts, including her most recent fight against Maycee Barber.
With both ranked in the Top 10 and both coming off losses, the matchup carries clear stakes. As one voice around the bout put it, this is the moment to "prove it" for each flyweight contender.
