T.J. Dillashaw Rips ‘New’ Conor McGregor After UFC 329 Loss

T.J. Dillashaw is not sold on the version of Conor McGregor that showed up at UFC 329.

Speaking on the JAXXON Podcast, Dillashaw broke down McGregor’s mindset following his injury loss to Max Holloway in the UFC 329 headliner, where McGregor blew out his right knee just 69 seconds into the fight after a five-year layoff.

"He did not have the aura you're used to seeing," Dillashaw said, pointing to McGregor’s demeanor before the bout. "His face just looked scared and confused. Everyone could see it. He had the flag around him and usually everyone goes to his tune, and he's like standing to the ref, 'Are you greasing me? Are you greasing me?' Like 'What's going on?' Yo, that's not him. He's usually the f*cking man. I picked Max Holloway because he was out for five years."

McGregor, listed at 22-7 in MMA and 10-5 in the UFC, has recently reconnected with his faith after legal issues and a long layoff, but Dillashaw questioned whether that shift will translate in the cage.

"I don't want the new Conor, 'God's plan.' I want him to be the f*cking man," Dillashaw added. "That guy, no one can tell him f*cking sh*t. He's sorry for nothing. That's the guy that's going to get him back."
