Tai Tuivasa’s skid continued at UFC Perth, as the fan-favorite heavyweight dropped a unanimous decision to short-notice opponent Louie Sutherland at RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia.

The bout, which took place on Sat., May 2, 2026, extended Tuivasa’s losing streak to seven fights, marking the longest skid in UFC Heavyweight history. The result also pushed his winless stretch to nearly four years and marked his second loss in three months since returning from an 18-month layoff.

After the fight, Tuivasa addressed his supporters, saying, "SORRY. I tried I felt good I put in the work didn’t get result. I feel like a shit cunt let my fans down again. Back to the drawing board for me. Cunt of a sport. BUT I WILL NEVER GIVE UP IM FROM WESTERNSYDNEY YOU GOTTA PUT ME OUT FOR ME TO GIVE UP. Tuivasa had acknowledged before the bout that his position was at risk, with some fans calling for him to move to Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship or be released. For now, the Western Sydney heavyweight says he is heading "back to the drawing board" after another tough night in Perth.
