Betting lines have opened for a rumored Dricus du Plessis vs. Kamaru Usman showdown, with sportsbooks already positioning the potential matchup as a centerpiece for UFC’s upcoming return to Oklahoma City.
UFC is scheduled to be back at Chesapeake Energy Arena on July 18, though the main event for the card has not yet been officially announced. Despite that, BetOnline.ag has posted odds for a possible clash between du Plessis and Usman, listing du Plessis at -230 and Usman at +195.
Du Plessis, known as "Stillknocks", holds a professional record of 23-3 and last fought when he lost his middleweight title to Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 319 in Chicago. Usman, "The Nigerian Nightmare", is 21-4 professionally and is coming off a win over Joaquin Buckley at a UFC event in Atlanta in June 2025.
Beyond the potential headliner, UFC Oklahoma City is expected to include Amanda Ribas vs. Fatima Kline, Veronica Hardy vs. Dione Barbosa, and Brad Tavares vs. Marc-Andre Barriault. UFC is expected to announce the Oklahoma City headliner in the coming days.
