Song Yadong is heading into his next headlining assignment with a highlight-reel knockout already on his resume.
The bantamweight contender, who owns a 22-9-1 MMA record and an 11-4-1 mark in the UFC, is set to face former UFC champion Deiveson Figueiredo in a five-round main event at UFC Fight Night 277 this Saturday at Galaxy Macau in China.
Song previously shared the Octagon with former WSOF champion and UFC title challenger Marlon Moraes in 2022, where he scored a first-round knockout via uppercut. The finish earned him a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.
Figueiredo enters the matchup with a 25-6-1 record in MMA and a 14-6-1 slate in the UFC, bringing championship experience to the bantamweight clash at Galaxy Macau.
