Undefeated UFC welterweight contender Shavkat Rakhmonov has offered a fresh look at his recovery, sharing new rehabilitation footage on Instagram as he continues to work back from knee surgery.
Rakhmonov, 19-0 in MMA and 7-0 in the UFC, has been sidelined since his unanimous decision victory over Ian Machado Garry at UFC 310 in December 2024. He entered that bout carrying a knee injury, which worsened during the fight.
The damage proved significant enough to rule him out of a planned welterweight title shot against then-champion Belal Muhammad in May 2025. After a setback in January, Rakhmonov underwent another knee surgery and has remained out of competition.
Rakhmonov was previously hopeful, according to his team, for a return in late 2026. It is currently unknown if that timeline remains intact or who his opponent might be if and when he makes it back to the Octagon.
