Shara Magomedov and Michel Pereira are set to clash in the middleweight co-main event of UFC Fight Night 280 at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The bout takes place Saturday, with Magomedov and Pereira expected to make their walks to the cage at approximately 2:10 p.m. ET. The event streams live on Paramount+.
Magomedov enters the matchup with a 16-1 MMA record and a 5-1 mark in the UFC. He is coming off a Fight of the Night win over Marc-Andre Barriault last July, which followed a loss to Michael Page, and has been earning performance bonuses in his recent outings.
Pereira brings a 32-14 MMA record and a 10-5 UFC slate into what is described as a nearly fifty-fight career. He most recently snapped a three-fight skid with a split decision victory over Zach Reese.
FanDuel lists Magomedov as a -370 favorite, with Pereira set as a +280 underdog. Analyst Dan Tom predicts Magomedov will win by knockout in Round 2.
