Tensions spiked at the UFC Baku ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday when Shara Bullet and Michel Pereira erupted into a brief physical altercation during their faceoff.
The staredown turned heated after Shara Bullet, also known as Shara Magomedov, wrapped an arm around Pereira’s neck on stage. Pereira immediately responded by shoving Shara Bullet in the chest before on-stage staff stepped in to separate the fighters and prevent any further physicality.
Pereira, known by the nickname "Demolidor", is coming off a split decision win over Zachary Reese in February that snapped a three-fight losing streak. Shara Bullet, meanwhile, previously lost a decision to Michael Page in February 2025 before rebounding with a victory over Mar-Andre Barriault.
UFC Baku is headlined by a lightweight bout between Rafael Fiziev and Manuel Torres.
