Sean Strickland Reacts to Dana White’s Take on Trump Incident
30-04-26

Sean Strickland had a blunt response to Dana White’s description of being present during an attempted assassination of President Donald Trump.

White was at the White House Correspondence Dinner in Washington, D.C., when a man armed with a gun exchanged shots with Secret Service agents at the Washington Hilton ballroom. Cole Tomas Allen, 31, of Torrance, California, was subdued and later charged with attempting to assassinate Trump.

White later called the chaotic scene “f*cking awesome” in comments to USA TODAY, adding, “(Suddenly), it just started getting noisy,” and, “Tables getting flipped over, guys running in with guns, and they were screaming, ‘Get down.’ I didn’t get down. It was f*cking awesome. I literally took every minute of it in, and it was a pretty crazy, unique experience.”

Asked about those remarks during media for his upcoming title fight, Strickland did not hold back. “I'm sure Dana White is a sociopath,” Strickland said. “Let's be honest: At that level of what he's accomplished, the kind of sh*t he deals with, I'm sure he's a super narcissistic sociopath. So for him, the lizard brain doesn't kind of compute. So he's like, 'F*ck it, bring it on, dude. Let's go, motherf*cker.' Which I respect. ...”

Strickland added, “I think Dana White would love to watch a motherf*cker get killed. He's a sick f*ck, a hundred percent. I mean, c'mon. Do we not think that about Dana White? The guy's probably a sociopath – or I would even say a psychopath.”

Strickland, 35, is scheduled to fight champion Khamzat Chimaev for the 185-pound title on May 9 in the main event of UFC 328 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The UFC is also scheduled to stage UFC Freedom 250 on June 14 on the South Lawn of the White House with Trump and other officials in attendance.
