Sean O’Malley Scores Second-Round Walkoff KO, Calls Out Petr Yan
15-06-26

Sean O’Malley delivered a walkoff knockout over Aiemann Zahabi on Sunday, stopping him in the second round at an event labeled UFC White House.

O’Malley repeatedly hurt Zahabi with jabs and right hands before finally dropping him with punches at 4:02 of Round 2, prompting referee Jason Herzog to step in and wave off the bout.

After the finish, O’Malley struggled to sum up the moment, saying, "It’s hard to put into words," before outlining how he had envisioned the performance. "Manifestation is a real thing. I’ve seen this before. That was the plan. I said it, it’s out there. That was sexy. Petr Yan! It should have been here tonight. That’s what I want next. I want Petr next."

O’Malley had previously promised to finish Zahabi and is described as a top contender in the bantamweight division. A rematch between Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili is expected to happen later this year.
