Robert Whittaker Set for Light Heavyweight Debut vs. Nikita Krylov at UFC 329

Robert Whittaker is moving up to light heavyweight to face Nikita Krylov in a preliminary card bout at UFC 329 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Whittaker, a former UFC middleweight champion with a 26-9 record, is currently ranked No. 12 at 185 pounds in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings and is making his 205-pound debut against No. 14-ranked light heavyweight Krylov.

Krylov enters the matchup with a 31-11 record and a 9-7 UFC mark at light heavyweight, having recently snapped a two-fight skid with a third-round knockout of Modestas Bukauskas at UFC 324.

Whittaker has lost his past two fights and is moving to a higher weight class, with his recent wins including victories over Ikram Aliskerov, Paulo Costa, and Marvin Vettori.
