Robert Whittaker Reveals Gaming Passion, Confirms Move to Light Heavyweight

Robert Whittaker has opened up about his life outside the cage and his next competitive chapter, revealing a move to light heavyweight after his recent setback.

Speaking with Jose Youngs on the show Anything But Fighting, the former UFC middleweight champion discussed his gaming interests, naming Skyrim, the original Pokémon, Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3 among his favorites.

Whittaker, who owns a professional record of 26 wins and 9 losses, is coming off a loss to Reinier de Ridder in July 2025. Following that defeat, he decided to move from middleweight to light heavyweight.

Known to fans as "The Reaper", Whittaker has been among the top middleweights in the world for the last decade and holds notable wins over Yoel Romero, Paulo Costa, Marvin Vettori, Kelvin Gastelum, Darren Till, Jared Cannonier, Derek Brunson, Jacare Souza, and Uriah Hall.
