Fresh off a UFC main event win, Renato Moicano is stepping into the promoter role with the launch of Money Moicano MMA 1, set for May 23 at the Cornerman gym in São Paulo, Brazil.

The event will be Moicano’s first as a producer and will be headlined by a bout between Jair Farias and Ricardo Almeida. The card will also feature amateur fights between subscribers of Moicano’s YouTube channel.

“It’s going to be crazyjust like my livestreams, but with CABMMA [overseeing it],” Moicano said, promising his trademark energy. “If you’re going to watch the event in person or live, you already know there will be jokes, there will be chaos, but when the cage closes, it’s a fight. You’ll have people about to fight on theContender Series, people who’ve already fought there, prospects, top-level fighters who are about to reach the next level. Money Moicano MMA will be showcasing these guys.”

Moicano emphasized that he is not looking to profit directly from the debut show. “I’m not going to take any money from this event,” he said. “My idea for an MMA event is that a lot of the money goes back to the athletes.”

He outlined a plan to drive revenue through streaming and sponsors while supporting fighters and social projects. “Food donations, equipment donations. What we make from the live stream, like superchats and everything the channel generates, we’ll choose an institution to support. We’ll also create an institute down the line to secure funding for kids. My goal is to grow the sport in the way I know how.”

Moicano previously won a UFC main event fight against Chris Duncan on April 4 at the Meta APEX.
