Ray Longo unloaded on Jiri Prochazka’s performance and post-fight comments after the former champion’s first-round knockout loss to Carlos Ulberg in the UFC 327 main event at Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, last night (Sat., April 11, 2026).
Prochazka and some supporters have claimed he showed "mercy" after noticing Ulberg was injured, while many observers, including Ulberg, believe Prochazka simply made a major mistake. The defeat marked Prochazka’s third failed title bid, and he has already called for an immediate rematch, which Ulberg has rejected.
Speaking on The Anik & Florian Podcast, Longo questioned Prochazka’s entire approach. "We have to discuss mental illness in MMA, because something’s wrong," Longo said. "It’s all funny when the guy is praying on Mount Olympus, standing on his head, drinking his own piss — but this is what happens, man."
Longo was particularly incensed by Prochazka’s talk of "mercy" in the aftermath. "That poor guy was confused — ‘Mercy! Mercy!’ What the f—k? You blew the f—king fight! You blew it! Holy shit, you gotta be kidding me," he said, later adding, "You gotta be f—king kidding me… Are you crying because you lost? Or because you know how crazy that was?"
Longo even suggested Prochazka look to a classic movie for guidance. "First of all, his first training should be to go watch The Karate Kid," he said, invoking the dynamic between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence while ripping into Prochazka’s mindset.
