Rafael Fiziev handed Manuel Torres a second-round knockout loss in their UFC Fight Night 280 main event at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Torres entered his first UFC main event at 31 years old with a 17-4 MMA record and a 5-2 mark in the UFC, while Fiziev came in at 14-5 in MMA and 8-5 in the promotion.
Following the defeat, César Lince of UPPER Sports Management said Torres is "in good spirits" and "hungrier than ever."
The setback continues a career pattern that has seen Torres rebound from each of his previous losses, as he has never had consecutive defeats in his MMA career.
