Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson Rips Ronda Rousey Ahead of MMA Return

Ronda Rousey’s long-awaited return to mixed martial arts already has heat on it, with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson openly criticizing the former UFC superstar ahead of her comeback fight against Gina Carano.

Rousey is set to compete at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, Calif., on Sat., May 16, 2026, in a bout that will be broadcast live on Netflix. The matchup marks her first cage appearance in nearly 10 years.

Speaking about Rousey, Jackson did not hold back. “I’ve never been a fan of Ronda Rousey,” he said, before adding, “Too arrogant,” and, “There is nothing wrong with believing in yourself but there’s a fine line. I hate to say this live, but she’s never been nice to staff and stuff like that, you know, behind the scenes people.”

Jackson continued to draw that line between confidence and attitude, stating, “It’s a fine line in believing yourself and being like overly cocky. In fighting, you have to be confident and believe in yourself.”

Rousey, described as a polarizing figure among fight fans, now returns to the spotlight in a high-profile clash with Carano, bringing renewed attention—and renewed criticism—to one of the UFC’s most talked-about names.
