Patricio Pitbull will face Aaron Pico in a featherweight bout on the UFC 327 preliminary card at the Kaseya Center in Miami.
The matchup pits two ranked contenders against each other, with Pitbull sitting at No. 10 and Pico at No. 15 in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings at featherweight.
Pitbull, described as Bellator’s greatest champion, has already logged two UFC appearances, dropping a decision to Yair Rodriguez before rebounding with a win over Dan Ige. Pico, who previously fought in the UFC and was knocked out by Lerone Murphy in his first UFC fight, now meets Pitbull after both men made the move from Bellator.
Pitbull and Pico never crossed paths during their Bellator runs, but UFC 327 will finally bring the featherweights together on the sport’s biggest stage.
