Paddy Pimblett Dismisses Mateusz Gamrot After UFC 327 Callout

Paddy Pimblett had plenty to say after learning Mateusz Gamrot called him out following Gamrot’s win at UFC 327.

Gamrot submitted Esteban Ribovics during the UFC 327 prelims, then used his post-fight moment to express interest in fighting Pimblett. He also called out Diego Lopes, Benoit Saint Denis, and Arman Tsarukyan.

Pimblett was running a UFC 327 watch-along on his YouTube channel and admitted he wasn’t even aware Gamrot was on the card. “Wow, is this Gamrot fighting? Who's he fighting? I didn't even know Gamrot was fighting,” Pimblett said.

He then criticized Gamrot’s placement on the event and level of opposition. “No one gives a f*ck about him. You knows what's mad? He's ranked (No.) 8 and he's fighting on the f*cking prelims. Is this Ribovics ranked? This is Gamrot's second fight in three fights that he's fighting someone unranked and he's in the top 10. Generally just shows that nobody cares about him.”

Pimblett also discussed the lightweight rankings picture. “What is it? Is it Gamrot (No.) 8, Hooker 7, me 6? He might go above (Dan) Hooker with that,” he said, before suggesting an alternative route for Gamrot: “If you're Gamrot, you probably want to get that win back off Hooker. If I'm Gamrot, I'm calling Arman out because he's beaten him.”
