Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson is set for his UFC debut, taking on Elisha Ellison on the main card of UFC 329 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 11.

UFC president Dana White announced the Steveson vs. Ellison matchup during Netflix's Rousey vs. Carano event, confirming the heavyweight clash for the summer card.

Steveson enters the Octagon with a 3-0 MMA record and an accomplished wrestling background as a two-time NCAA champion. He has two knockout wins, including a 98-second TKO over Braden Peterson in LFA, along with quick finishes of Billy Swanson, Kevin Hein, and Hugo Lezama under various rule sets and promotions.

Ellison brings a 5-2 MMA record to the bout and is 0-1 in the UFC. The Washington police officer made his promotional debut on short notice in September, when he was knocked out in under two minutes by Brando Pericic. Before joining the UFC, Ellison previously competed for Muckleshoot Fight Night in the Pacific Northwest.
