A pivotal women’s bantamweight showdown is set for Saturday, as Norma Dumont meets Joselyne Edwards in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 274 at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
The 135-pound clash is billed as a contender’s fight, with the outcome expected to help determine the next women’s bantamweight title challenger. Dumont enters with a 13-2 MMA record and 9-2 UFC mark, riding a six-fight winning streak. She is also 7-0 competing in the smaller octagon at the Apex and is coming off a split decision win over Ketlen Vieira in November.
Edwards brings a 17-6 MMA record and 8-4 UFC slate into the bout, surging on a four-fight winning streak. All four of those victories have come by finish, including her most recent outing, a second-round submission of Nora Cornolle in February.
Betting odds at FanDuel list Dumont as a -215 favorite, with Edwards a +172 underdog. The two are expected to make their walks to the cage at approximately 10:10 p.m. ET.
UFC Fight Night 274 streams live on Paramount+, and MMA Junkie analyst Dan Tom has provided a breakdown and betting perspective on the matchup.
