Cub Swanson will make what is described as his career finale against Nate Landwehr on the UFC 327 main card on Sat., April 11, 2026, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
The matchup pits Swanson, whose career is stated as a 21-year run dating back to 2004 with 25 UFC fights, against Landwehr, who enters the bout on a two-fight losing streak, both by finish.
Landwehr, who joined the UFC from M-1 Global, framed the fight as one he has long targeted. "Coming into the UFC from M-1 Global, it was the fight that I wanted, and we’re about to find out Saturday night. I feel like it’s two dads at a baseball game and we’re going to figure it out," he said.
He also recalled seeing Swanson around a previous fight week. "I remember running into his wife during 2024 International Fight Week when he was fighting Andre Fili, and I said I was pulling for him — I ain’t pulling for him now. I just saw him out there, and it’s always that awkward moment where we’re like, ‘Yo, what up,’ but I’m here to hurt you, and you’re here to hurt me."
Swanson is described as the final fighter from the WEC era to compete in the UFC, and Landwehr made clear he holds that longevity in high regard. "I respect the fact that you know, it’s tough to be in this game, let along be in this game for as long as he has — in any sport. If you’re in the UFC, then you’ve got my respect," Landwehr said.
