Muhammad Mokaev has his next assignment booked, as he’s set to face Jorge Calvo in a bantamweight bout at WOW 31 on June 6 at Madrid Arena in Spain.
The matchup comes after Mokaev was forced out of a scheduled fight with Adriano Moraes on Saturday's MVP MMA card at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif., due to visa issues. ABC MMA first reported the news of the Mokaev vs. Calvo bout.
Mokaev enters WOW 31 with a professional record of 15-0 and is 3-0 since parting ways with the UFC in 2024. He also captured the inaugural Brave CF flyweight title in November.
Calvo brings a 20-7 record into the fight. He was on an eight-fight winning streak before losing his Lux Fight League flyweight title in February.
