Most Valuable Promotions is stepping into the cage with its first MMA event, MVP MMA 1, headlined by a featherweight showdown between Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano.
The inaugural card takes place Saturday at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif., and will be available live on Netflix on May 16.
MVP MMA 1 features Rousey, described as a former UFC champion, taking on Carano, described as a women's MMA pioneer, in the main event.
In the co-feature, Nate Diaz meets Mike Perry, who is described as BKFC King of Violence.
The event is promoted under the Most Valuable Promotions banner as its first official MMA offering.
