Michel Pereira is no longer on the UFC roster following his decision loss to Shara Magomedov at UFC Baku on June 27 in Baku.
The bout with Magomedov came after Pereira completed his previous UFC deal with a split-decision win over Zach Reese in February. He was then offered only a one-fight contract to face Magomedov on the Baku card.
Pereira leaves the promotion with a 10-6 record in the UFC across two weight classes. He lost four of his last five UFC appearances.
During his run, Pereira won eight consecutive fights at one point and earned bonuses for first-round finishes over Ihor Potieria, Michal Oleksiejczuk and Andre Petroski within seven months. That streak was followed by three consecutive defeats against Anthony Hernandez, Abus Magomedov and Kyle Daukaus.
