The longtime boxing ring announcer Michael Buffer and Bruce Buffer, described as the voice of the UFC, each handled team introductions for the high-profile clash, adding a crossover combat-sports flair to the global soccer showcase.
The appearance continued a busy tournament for the half-brothers, who both featured earlier in the World Cup. Michael Buffer introduced England vs. Argentina and Bruce Buffer introduced France vs. Spain in this year’s semi-finals.
