Megan Olivi, Mike Bohn Break Down Monumental First Half of 2026 UFC
01-07-26

Megan Olivi and Mike Bohn have recapped what they describe as one of the most monumental first six months in UFC history, handing out half-year awards for the 2026 campaign.

The stretch opened with a major shift for the promotion, as the UFC transitioned from ESPN to Paramount+ to begin the year with UFC 324 in January. That card featured a notable matchup between Justin Gaethje and Paddy Pimblett.

Six months later, the UFC staged a fight card on the South Lawn of the White House, where Justin Gaethje defeated Ilia Topuria to become the unified and undisputed lightweight champion.

Olivi and Bohn’s discussion spotlighted UFC Freedom 250, multiple divisional title changes, and standout performances from Justin Gaethje, Sean Strickland, Josh Hokit and others. Olivi was backstage or cageside for key moments throughout the first half of the year, while Bohn contributed his perspective as a senior reporter for MMA Junkie.
