McGregor and Holloway Set for Welterweight Rematch at UFC 329
05-07-26

Conor McGregor and Max Holloway are set to run it back in a welterweight rematch in the main event of UFC 329 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The bout comes thirteen years after their first meeting and headlines a card that also features Benoit Saint Denis vs. Paddy Pimblett in a lightweight co-main event. McGregor was last seen breaking his leg in a loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021, while Holloway enters UFC 329 following a BMF title fight loss to Charles Oliveira.

Both men are former featherweight champions, and the UFC 329 Countdown video highlights McGregor rededicating himself to training ahead of one of the final two fights on his UFC contract. Holloway, training in Honolulu, is aiming to regain championship form and avenge his loss to McGregor.

The “BMF” label continues to follow Holloway into this matchup, with the term "BMF" directly tied to his most recent title fight experience.
