Conor McGregor and Max Holloway shared a tense final staredown at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas after ceremonial weigh-ins, setting the stage for their UFC 329 main-event rematch tomorrow night.
The matchup, described as 13 years in the making, will see the former featherweight champions clash in a welterweight contest. The event takes place at T-Mobile Arena, with McGregor returning for the first time in five years and Holloway looking to rebound from his loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 326 that cost him his "BMF" championship.
McGregor addressed the crowd after the faceoff, saying, "It’s great to be back," before adding, "Thank you to all the fans here in attendance, I hope you’re all ready for a blockbuster event tomorrow night. ‘The Mac’ is bringing it!"
Holloway kept his message short but fiery, declaring, "I’m too ferocious," and, "I’m too relentless. If this guy’s a missile, I’m a f*cking nuke!"
The co-main event fighters, Benoit Saint Denis and Paddy Pimblett, also faced off following weigh-ins ahead of their lightweight bout. Fans reacted loudly to Pimblett’s arrival during the faceoff, adding extra energy to the final build-up before UFC 329 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas tomorrow night.
