Max Holloway emerged victorious over Conor McGregor in their welterweight main event at UFC 329 after McGregor suffered a knee injury just 69 seconds into the bout at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sat., July 11, 2026.
The card marked McGregor’s return after five years away from competition and capped a packed night of high-profile matchups under the UFC banner.
In the co-main event, Paddy Pimblett made a statement by submitting Benoit Saint-Denis with a choke in less than one minute. Holloway, currently ranked No. 4, is already being discussed as a potential opponent for Pimblett following their UFC 329 performances.
King Green added to his momentum with a stoppage of Terrance McKinney, finishing the fight with one second left in the opening round to secure his fourth straight win and third consecutive finish. Dan Hooker later publicly called out Green following the victory.
Mario Bautista continued his run by defeating Cory Sandhagen via unanimous decision and improving to 10-1 over his last 11 fights. Bautista previously lost to Umar Nurmagomedov in 2025 and could potentially meet him again if Nurmagomedov wins his scheduled fight next month against Song Yadong.
Brandon Royval snapped a two-fight skid by finishing Lone’er Kavanagh, with both fighters earning a total of $100,000 in bonus money. At flyweight, Asu Almabayev remains ranked No. 8 and is coming off a submission win over Charles Johnson.
